How Indian Auto Ancillaries and Auto OEMs can take inspiration from US and EU counterparts
Latest news from two major giants - Stellantis and Bentley has come as a fresh breather to a wave of negative or sad news on the state of digital transformation for Auto companies globally not just India
First being, Capgemini is taking lead of digital ops for Bentley. News link : https://analyticsindiamag.com/ai-news/capgemini-to-lead-bentley-motors-digital-transformation-with-ai-intelligent-manufacturing

Capgemini will help Bentley with :
Data and AI strategy
Ops modernization
In the technical jargon it reads and I directly quote "The partnership also aims to strengthen Bentley's AI and data capabilities by establishing clearer data ownership, improving accountability, reducing operational complexity, and enabling faster decision-making across the business. Bentley expects the collaboration to improve operational efficiency, enhance employee adoption of digital tools, and remain agile in an increasingly competitive automotive market."
Now second, Stellantis will be helped by none other than the Industry Expert Microsoft. Mass movement of 100+ initiatives or I should say digital addition to existing 100+ processes
What catches my eye very strong is the focus on cybersecurity and cyber-defense systems -both in-vehicle and in-ops
Third aspect of cloud modernization is an on-going affair and does not seem to be new thing
My recent assessment on state of digital transformation at Indian Auto Ancillaries does talk about the set of initiatives undertaken by Indian Auto Ancillaries and what are their plans. You can read more about those in the relevant blogs on my website. Below is the snapshot of the assessment :
